1. Do I need a partner to attend the classes or socials?
Nope! You’re welcome to come solo. Many people attend without a
partner — it’s a great way to meet new people and make friends.
2. What level are the classes? Are beginners welcome?
Absolutely! Our classes are beginner-friendly, and we break
everything down step-by-step. No previous experience is needed.
3. What styles of dance do you teach?
We mainly teach salsa and bachata.
4. What should I wear?
We have monthly dress-code themes that make each social unique and
extra fun! Keep an eye out for our flyers to see the theme for each
month. Dressing up is completely optional — the most important thing is
that you wear something comfortable. It can get pretty warm inside,
especially during the summer, so if you tend to run hot, you may want to
dress lightly or bring a change of clothes in case you get sweaty. Don’t
worry — we all do!
5. What kind of shoes should I bring?
Avoid shoes with sticky rubber bottoms, as they make turning harder.
Smooth-soled shoes or dance shoes are ideal, but not required.
6. Do you rotate partners in class? Yes, we do! You
will never be dancing alone the whole time.
7. Is the meet & greet the same as a class?
No — our meet & greet is not a class. It’s a casual hangout where you
can relax, talk, meet people, and build connections before the next
social. No dancing required!
8. How much do classes or socials cost?
If paid
in advance, the price is $10. At the door on the day of the event, it is
$12.
9. Can I come even if I’ve never danced before?
Yes! Many dancers start with zero experience. Our community is
welcoming, and our classes are taught at a pace designed to help
beginners feel confident. If you have any questions, feel free to ask
us!
10. What age group usually comes?
Adults primarily attend, but children over 10 are welcome as long
as they are supervised at all times.
11. Do you play more salsa or more bachata at socials?
We play an equal amount of both.
12. Is parking available at the studio/social location?
Yes. Parking and the entrance are located behind the building.
13. Do you offer private lessons?
Yes! Sonia and
Manuel offer private lessons. You can contact them at 423.933.0095.
